Gotway (Begode) has been evolving this EUC since the introduction of the MSuper V3 back in 2016. The RS is the latest and greatest iteration of what has become the gold-standard high-performance wheel used by some of the world’s most extreme riders. The stand-out feature is the new super-smooth 2600w motor that features a hollow design with space for thicker gauge power cables. Two versions are available, the high-speed HS which is optimised for maximum speed and the high-torque HT which offers stronger acceleration and braking.

Description
The new Gotway RS electric unicycle comes in two versions each optimised for either high cruising speed or acceleration. The HT, high-torque, version will cruise at up to 35 mph and brings new levels of acceleration and braking. The HS, high-speed version, increases the viable cruising speed up to 40 mph should you feel the need… Both versions feature Gotway’s new 2600w hollow motor design bringing new levels of refinement and efficiency.
In addition to the new motor, the RS features a host of new refinements:
- Larger pedals: These are similar to the earlier MSX pedals with red rubber center contact strips. The size has increased to 9.5″x5″, compared to 8.75×4.5″ on the MSX/MSP.
- Bright dual-beam headlights: each headlight element has an output rating of 3000Lm, 6000Lm combined plus new daytime running lights.
- Lighting: Continuous LED color bands give the RS a more refined look.
- Under-handle lift-button: This replaces the thumb button on the MSP for a more intuitive feel.
- Dual charge ports: now equipped with 2x 5-pin input ports for using two chargers at once, up to 8A (max recommended) of charging current — the charge ports are also better protected from the elements with a new flap design.

Personal Electric Transport has been keenly interested in electric unicycles since we first opened in 2015. Since then we’ve been closely following the innovation of the Gotway Electric Unicycle development, also known as Begode and their green lightweight transport creations. While electric unicycles have been around for sometime now, the moden euc that is rising in popularity more closely resembles that of Charles Gabriel’s Design 1977.

The Begode / Gotway company was founded in 2014. The company and their factory specialise in the research and development of the mainboard hardware, software and brushless motor of electric transport machines. Gotway aka Begode has a series of products including electric skateboards, scooters, mini bikes and of course their famous electric unicycles.
